My name is Florin Burgui.

I am a licensed tour guide for the entire Romania with license number 5771. I can say that I do not work anymore because I do what I like.

I am a member of the Pro Guide – Professional Tour Guides Association Romania, which is a member of WFTGA (The World Federation of Tourist Guide Association). In December 2019 I finished one of my biggest projects: a book. It’s a book written by a French writer, Christine Colonna-Cesari, who now lives in Bucharest. You can find the book at Libraria Eminescu, or simply order on the Edition Piatnitsa website

I traveled a lot in my country, from the sea level to the highest peak (Moldoveanu – 2544 m). I drove the car over 150,000 km only in the past two years, helping foreign tourists discover the beauties, history, and legends of my country. And also for myself, to visit new places to be included in www.1daytrip.ro programs or places that I have seen before but now I can see them with other eyes when my job is in tourism.

I’ve been a few steps from alligators in Florida, I jumped with a parachute from 4,000 m altitude, I explored caves over 6,000 years old, I climbed volcanoes, I went down over 200 meters below ground, I represented Romania at international tourism fairs and I drove the car on the roads that cross the mountains. I participated in radio shows and incoming forums, helping to promote my country. All this in order to have the great experience I can use in favor of my clients, people who come to Romania to discover this corner of the world, sometimes having unrealistic information.

Meanwhile, since I’ve been a travel guide, I’ve led over 1,500 tourists from 55 countries, the smallest was 3 months old, the eldest 84 years. And their numbers are on the rise. As I announce on a radio show I was invited to, I want to achieve foreign tourists coming from 100 countries.
