Day 1

Day 1: So, we’ll spend together two lovely days.

Peles Castle is our first destination. This place is the summer residence of the Romanian Royal family and one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. We discover the history of Romania during the period of royalty. We’ll find stories about Carol I and Elisabeth, the first Royal family of Romania.

Next, we’ll see the first building in Sinaia: Sinaia Monastery. An important place for Romanian Christians and the entire region.

Bran Castle, known as Dracula’s Castle is the next sight on our list. This medieval castle is popular for the character of Bram Stoker’s novel but is also full of history. Was a royal residence too, during Queen Maria’s period.

Toward Sighisoara, we stop for discovering Rasnov Fortress. A special place located on the top of the mountain, isolated and hard to be conquered.

In the evening we’ll arrive at Sighisoara to accommodate.

Day 2

Day 2:  We start the day by discovering the only medieval fortress still inhabited in Eastern Europe: Sighisoara. Over there we’ll climb in the Clock Tower to see the entire city from the top, the house of Vlad Dracul (the father of Vlad Tepes), the Venetian House, the House with Deer, the Church on the Hill, the Covered Stairway.

One of seven fortified churches in Romania which are UNESCO heritage is in Viscri. We’ll understand why Prince Charles from England bought a house in this area.

A special fortress on our way to Brasov city, Rupea Fortress is located on a hill. Its shape is like a snail shell.

The last stop is in Brasov city, to see the symbol of Gothic architecture in Romania. I’m talking about the Black Church. Then, we walk on Rope Street, the narrowest street from here. The main square of the old city is the Council Square. The Black Tower and the White Tower are the ends of the journey. Both of these are situated on the hill near the center of the city.
